Xpert for Chrome opens in your browser's side panel, next to the post you're reading. It knows the post or profile in the tab beside it, drafts replies in your voice on x.com, and flags replies that look AI-written. You still press Reply yourself.
Every Xpert plan includes it (Pro, Growth and Scale). Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc and other Chromium browsers. Safari is coming.
An X post is open in the tab. The panel's card offers: Reply or quote it in your voice, or predict how a reply would land before you send one. The draft goes to X's own reply box in that tab.

The top of the panel holds the X account it acts as, your credits and a menu with your voice, Billing and Settings. The buttons on x.com draft for the same account. Alt+Shift+X opens the panel from any tab.
Replies in your voice on x.com

You press Reply. Every time.
Xpert writes the draft and x.com sends it. When you choose Reply on X, the extension opens X's own reply box on that post with your draft ready: pasted in for you if one-click fill is on, or one Cmd or Ctrl+V away. You read it, change what you like, and press Reply. On x.com it never presses Reply or Post for you, and it never likes, reposts or follows.

Why it works this way
Since February 2026, X only accepts a reply posted through its API when the post's author mentioned or quoted that account first. X's announcement
In July 2026 X removed 42,000 accounts that let AI reply with no person involved, per X's head of product .
Your own posts are different: Create in the panel publishes or schedules posts, threads and X Articles when you choose to, the same as the web app.
Know who you're replying to
The profile lens.
A small pill on every profile says how you're connected: mutual, follows you, or not yet. Open it for when they followed you, how many of your posts they liked, a bot check and a suggested next move. Save them to your contacts, find similar people, or open their X-ray in the panel.AI Shield.
Replies under a post and mentions in your notifications that read as AI-written get a Likely AI badge, and ones that look like they come from an automated account get Likely automated. It's a probability, not proof, and the badge says so. It's on by default, costs no credits, and switches off from the Xpert button's right-click menu.What it needs

Privacy, in plain words
What it reads
- On x.com, the posts and profiles on the page, to show its buttons and badges and to draft replies.
- In the side panel, the address and title of the tab beside it, to pick the card that fits.
- Nothing from the content of other websites.
What it sends to Xpert, and when
- A post and the conversation around it, when you ask for a draft, a rewrite or a check.
- Replies and mentions as they scroll into view, while AI Shield is on. Never your own posts.
- The profile or post you have open, for the profile lens and the panel's card: a profile's handle, or a post's id when the tab's title doesn't show the post.
- Another page's address only when you ask, to turn it into posts.
- What you write and do in the panel, the same as on app.xpert.so.
What stays in your browser
- Your sign-in tokens and settings, and a week of AI Shield answers, in the browser's storage for the extension.
- Signing out removes the tokens.
What it never does
- Post, reply, like or follow on x.com for you.
- Show ads, or sell what it reads.
- Read your clipboard, except to paste its own draft into X when you turn on one-click fill.
One-click fill is off until you turn it on in the panel's account menu. Chrome then asks once to let the extension read the clipboard, which it uses only to paste the draft it has just copied into X's reply or post box. Without it, the draft is copied and you paste it with one keystroke.

Is the Xpert Chrome extension free?
It comes with Xpert: every plan includes it (Pro, Growth and Scale), and every plan starts with a free trial. There's no separate charge for the extension. Drafts and checks use your plan's monthly credits, the same as in the app; AI Shield doesn't use any.
Which browsers does it work in?
Chrome 116 or newer, and other Chromium browsers such as Edge, Brave and Arc. Where a browser has no side panel, the toolbar button opens Xpert in a tab instead. Safari for Mac and iPhone is coming.
Does the extension post replies for me?
No. It writes the draft and opens X's own reply box on that post with the draft ready: pasted in with one-click fill, or on your clipboard for one keystroke. You press Reply. X's API only takes a reply from an app when the post's author mentioned or quoted that account, so a reply you send yourself from x.com is the one that works.
Can it publish my own posts?
Yes. Create in the side panel publishes or schedules posts, threads and X Articles when you choose to, the same way the web app does. Only replies and quotes go through x.com's own composer.
Will using it put my X account at risk?
On x.com the extension never acts without you: it doesn't press Reply or Post, and it doesn't like, repost or follow. What X removes is accounts that let software engage with people on its own. Every reply the extension drafts is one you read and send.
What does AI Shield do?
It badges replies under a post, and mentions in your notifications, that read as AI-written (Likely AI) or seem to come from an automated account (Likely automated), so you spend your replies on people. It's a probability, not proof. It's on by default, costs no credits, and you can switch it off from the Xpert button's right-click menu in the toolbar.
What does the extension read, and what does it send to Xpert?
It reads the posts and profiles on x.com pages, and the address and title of the tab beside the side panel. It sends Xpert a post when you ask for a draft or a check, replies and mentions for AI Shield while it's on (never your own posts), the post or profile the tab is on to fill the card, and another page's address only when you ask to turn it into posts. It doesn't show ads or sell what it reads. The privacy policy has the details.
Do I need a separate account?
No. Continue with X in the panel signs you in to your Xpert account, and the same sign-in covers the buttons on x.com. New to Xpert? The same button creates your account.
Does it work with more than one X account?
Yes. Switch accounts at the top of the panel or from the Xpert button's right-click menu. The buttons on x.com draft for whichever account is selected.
